I'm going to Rome in a few weeks and I'm really looking forward to it. There are so many things I want to see! If you have ever been to Rome, how was your trip? Any tips/useful info you can share? What are some sights that you recommend I do not miss? And any lesser known places?
I'm looking to go to Peru at the end of August. I am in my mid 20s, female, and would be traveling solo. I've traveled throughout Western Europe before, many portions by myself, but have gotten mixed reviews about how safe this would be in Peru.
Thoughts from ladies who have also done it?
Thanks in advance!
I haven't been to LJ in quite a while. There has a lot that has happened since I last updated. Here are only a few videos from the past few months. Check out my youtube channel (you know how) to view more!!! Thanks once again!!! - Jerry
I am visiting Poland (Wroclaw) for a few days at the end of the month. Do you have any tips or advice? Do you know if it is possible to hire wheelchairs? And finally, just how cold is it likely to be? (I'm in Scotland so I can handle cold! I'm just wondering if it's going to be much colder)
I've recently started an organization to help people do some inspirational travel while traveling to India. It's called Leave UR Mark, and you can either do professional internships or volunteer work while visiting India for 2-12 weeks. There are projects like Advertising Internships or Sustainable Community Development. Instead of just sightseeing, you will get to live like a local and arrange trips for yourself to travel and explore the country on the weekends. Whether it's students that are taking a gap year or doing a semester abroad, it helps you with your resume and adds to your world experience.
The website is: www.leaveurmark.com
Let me know if you are interested in doing something different on your next holiday!
I've done some pretty extensive searching for the best price, but figured I'd ask y'all just in case there's something I'm missing. So far the best price I've found is $760 round trip direct.
Dates: Leave December 26th, return January 12th (+/- one day)
Going: From anywhere in/near NYC (JFK, LGA, EWK) to anywhere near Berlin (probably just TXL)
Anyone find anything better?
I'm looking for a hotel in central dublin. I'm going for a weekend with a friend and we won't have a car, so we'd really like to stay in a place that's as central as possible, we don't care if it's a little pricey, any idea from someone who has already been there? Thanks in advance
cross posted to a few places, sorry
